I'm Nessa - a wedding planner, stylist and lover of celebrations based between Ireland & the Algarve, Portugal.
Nessa Loves Weddings was born from my love of all things wedding-related. I am not sure you will meet many people who love weddings as much as I do. I have always been a true romantic with a passion for beautiful moments and materials. I love to make the most out of all celebrations in life and get so much joy from bringing people together for a fun event.
I genuinely love helping people to plan their perfect wedding day and treat each celebration as if I was planning it for my own family or friends.
I work with each couple to truly reflect their own incredible personality and style. I get to know each of my clients and find out what truly makes them happy. I take inspiration from you and what you love most. My couples generally know what they want, they usually just don’t have the time or the experience to do it themselves.

I have worked in wedding and events in Ireland for nearly two decades as well as working in marketing and social media content creation for international brands and companies. I have also worked as a marketing consultant for brands in luxury travel, hospitality, the arts and the health and wellness industry both in Ireland and Dubai. I have worked as a stylist for Ireland’s leading bridal studio, with some of the best designers such as Alexandra Grecco, Prea James, Bon Bride and Maria Fekih.
I also host my wedding podcast Nessa Loves Weddings where I speak to real brides about their wedding experiences and industry experts about the wedding industry.

My husband and I got married in Portugal 10 years ago and even with my experience as a wedding planner, I found our own planning process quite overwhelming and challenging at times. I personally know what it takes to plan a wedding abroad. I know the struggles and the challenges but I also know just how amazing it is to have your wedding in the sunshine with all of your loved ones - there really is no better feeling!
